Meet C’est Bon 2026 Summer program Teaching Fellows & Student Volunteers
We’re thrilled to introduce our 2026 Teaching Fellows and Student Volunteers! These talented young musicians bring energy, creativity, and leadership to C’est Bon. They’ll be working closely with students through coaching and mentoring, as well as supporting camp logistics and day-to-day operations. We’re so grateful to have them on the team!

Starla Breshears
San Francisco Symphony

C’est Bon Alumna
Appointed to the cello section of the San Francisco Symphony for the 2026–27 season, Starla Breshears is a Kohl Scholar at the Colburn School, where she studies with Clive Greensmith. She previously attended the San Francisco Conservatory of Music Pre-College on a full scholarship. Starla began cello at age three with Yoshie Muratani and has received additional coaching from Christine Walevska and Sergei Riabtchenko. A prizewinner at the Stulberg International String Competition and Johansen International Competition for Young String Players, she has appeared as a soloist with 18 orchestras. Her quartet won First Prize at the 2023 Piero Farulli International Competition and Silver Medal at the 2024 Fischoff National Chamber Music Competition.

Fei Chen, Piano
Peabody Institute
C’est Bon Alumna
Holding bachelor’s and master’s degrees in piano performance from the Peabody Institute of Johns Hopkins University, Fei Chen is active as a soloist, collaborative pianist, and educator in Baltimore and her hometown of San Jose. Committed to both performance and pedagogy, she views teaching as an extension of her artistic practice, emphasizing music as a vehicle for individual expression and connection.
She is a founding member of the Chen-Tran Piano Duo, which recently received Second Prize at the 2026 MTNA Stecher & Horowitz Two Piano Competition. This fall, she will begin her Graduate Performance Diploma at Peabody with Benjamin Pasternack.

Roger Chen, Violin
New England Conservatory
C’est Bon Alumnus
Violinist Roger Chen is a rising junior at the New England Conservatory, where he studies with Ayano Ninomiya. Previously, he studied with David Chernyavsky, Eric Chin, and Ryan Chen. A versatile musician, Roger excels in chamber music and orchestral playing in addition to solo performance.
The Genesis Quartet, in which Roger plays viola, was recently invited to participate in the Lunenburg Academy of Music Performance Quartet Academy, where the group worked intensively with the Verona Quartet and Paul Katz. In 2025, Roger served as concertmaster of the NEC Symphony and performed as a soloist with the Colorado College Summer Music Festival Orchestra as winner of the festival’s concerto competition. As winner of the 2026–27 Nova Vista Symphony Concerto Competition, Roger will perform the Violin Concerto in D major, Op. 35 by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky with the Nova Vista Symphony in spring 2027. Outside of music, Roger enjoys tennis, video games, cooking, and attending trading card conventions.

Anna Lilla Székely, Violin
Haute École de Musique de Genève-Neuchâtel
Anna Lilla Székely, born in Budapest in 2003, began playing the violin at age six. At 13, she was admitted to the Class for Gifted Young Students at the Franz Liszt Academy of Music in Budapest and was selected as one of 16 finalists in the prestigious Il Piccolo Violino Magico International Violin Competition in Italy.
She pursued her bachelor’s studies in Budapest with Miklós Szenthelyi and was also accepted into the class of Liana Gourdjia at the École Normale de Musique de Paris Alfred Cortot. In 2023, she won First Prize at the Danubia Talents International Competition.
She performed at the Budapest Music Academy’s New Year’s Concert 2025 with the Hungarian Radio Symphony Orchestra under Domonkos Héja. Currently, she studies at the Haute École de Musique de Genève-Neuchâtel with Sergey Ostrovsky and in Paris with Liya Petrova. In 2025, she won Second Prize at the Shkolnikova Academy Concerto Competition.
